Childbirth and parenting classes

Breastfeeding support group

Just because breastfeeding is ‘natural’ doesn’t mean it’s always easy—especially in the beginning. This is true for both first-time moms and seasoned ones. The good news is Spectrum Health offers several resources to help you be successful in breastfeeding your baby. Sleepy babies, burping, pumping and returning to work are some of the topics discussed. These free weekly group sessions meet each Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

All in-person classes follow safety guidelines and may have limited capacity. Please enter through the main entrance of the hospital. Social distancing and/or masking will follow current Spectrum Health guidelines.

*Breastfeeding support groups will resume in-person on Tuesday, February 22.

Tuesdays, 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. (No class on April 5, 2022.)
