Spectrum Health Zeeland Community Hospital has served the Lakeshore community for more than 100 years by providing high quality health care close to home for Ottawa and Allegan Country residents.

Spectrum Health Foundation Zeeland Community Hospital supports this vision through the charitable contributions of generous community members who make possible such initiatives as:

• Surgery Center Expansion Project – Opening soon, this facility renovation will include a dedicated C-section operating room to ensure our ability to provide the best care with all the right equipment for both mom and baby. It will also increase our overall surgical department footprint with additional rooms and features to enhance the patient experience.
• School Blue Envelope Program – This program, already in place in many area schools, initiates a plan of action when a student has thoughts of suicide or self-harm. With expansion planned in more than 60 schools over the next three years, this life-saving program is sure to make a difference in the lives of Lakeshore youth and their families.
• Injury Prevention Program – This initiative helps busy families keep safety at the forefront with the goal of eliminating unintentional childhood injury and death by making sure our youngest citizens are safe, whether in the car or on their bike.
