What is a DAF?

A Donor Advised Fund (DAF) is a charitable giving program that allows you to combine the most favorable tax benefits with the flexibility to support your favorite causes. If you have a Donor Advised Fund, DAF Direct enables you to recommend grants to Spectrum Health Foundations including Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital Foundation directly from your DAF (as long as your DAF’s sponsoring organization is participating).

The information on this website is not intended as legal or tax advice and is taken from sources believed to be reliable, however is not guaranteed as to completeness or accuracy. You are encouraged to seek the advice of your financial planner, attorney, and/or tax advisor to make certain that a contemplated gift fits well into your overall circumstances and planning.
