Spectrum Health believes health care services should be accessible to everyone. If you are one of the millions of Americans without insurance, we can help. 

Do You Qualify for Financial Assistance or Medicaid?

Our Financial Counseling staff will help determine your eligibility for any available assistance. You can also talk to us about ways to pay your bill. 

Your bill may also be reduced or eliminated for medically necessary and appropriate treatment if you qualify under our financial hardship guidelines.

Together, we’ll help you find a way to pay that best fits your financial situation.

Are You a Veteran?

We thank you for your service! Spectrum Health is a provider of choice for veterans. We’ll help you get the health care you need.

Many of our Spectrum Health Veteran Support Services coordinators are veterans, too. We’re familiar with financial assistance available to vets. We can help coordinate your care with the Veterans Administration. 

Our coordinators can also connect veterans to additional federal, state and local benefits and resources. This includes legal services, employment resources and long term care.

Some Spectrum Health patients without health insurance opt to pay for their health care on their own. We accept cash, checks, money orders and all major credit cards.
Payment is due in full within 30 days of receiving your Spectrum Health bill. Unable to pay within 30 days? We can help you arrange a payment plan that works for you.
