Spectrum Health believes health care services should be accessible to everyone. If you are one of the millions of Americans without insurance, who are underinsured or without insurance entirely, we can help. 

Do You Qualify for Financial Assistance or Medicaid?

Our Financial Counseling staff will help determine your eligibility for any available assistance. You can also talk to us about ways to pay your bill. 

Your bill may also be reduced or eliminated for medically necessary and appropriate treatment if you qualify under our financial hardship guidelines.

Together, we’ll help you find a way to pay that best fits your financial situation.

Payment Plans

Spectrum Health can work with you to create interest-free payment plans customized to meet your needs and outstanding balances. If you need extra time to pay for your care, we have partnered with Commerce Bank to offer Health Services Financing (HSF®) accounts enabling a simple, affordable way to pay your medical bills over a time period of up to 60 months.

Patients and families are eligible for HSF® regardless of whether you have insurance, and without requiring a credit check. There are no set-up fees. Self-Payment

Some Spectrum Health patients without health insurance opt to pay for their health care on their own. We accept cash, checks, money orders and all major credit cards.
 
Payment is due in full within 30 days of receiving your Spectrum Health bill. Unable to pay within 30 days? We can help you arrange a payment plan that works for you.
