What excites you about your residency/fellowship at Corewell Health in West Michigan? I've done all of my medical education and training so far in West Virginia so I'm looking forward to exploring a new state and learning from a new population of patients and a new group of faculty!

Why did you choose Spectrum Health for your residency/fellowship? I come from a city that has five separate children's hospitals, so I really appreciated how Helen DeVos Children's Hospital is the only children's hospital in West Michigan. I loved the welcoming environment of my interview and when I visited the city of Grand Rapids, I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it.

What are your clinical interests? Big picture, I'm interested in practicing pediatric critical care in an urban setting with learners in all stages of medical education. More specifically, I'm interested in management of traumatic brain injuries, antibiotic stewardship and mechanical ventilation.

Hobbies: My hobbies include gardening and houseplants, boxing, hiking and backpacking and intermittent dabbling in DIY projects.

Why did you choose Spectrum Health for your residency/fellowship? A couple of my PICU attendings and mentors from residency recommended that I interview here because they knew it to be a good program. During my interview it was obvious that the faculty were very invested in the fellowship program and that they had strong individual relationships with the current fellows. Everyone I met was down-to-earth and the fellows were awesome. Moving all the way from the South to West Michigan was a gamble, but it paid off. My family and I love the city and I couldn't be happier with the fellowship program!

What are your clinical interests? My clinical interests are in Neurocritical Care and traumatic brain injury. I also have a strong interest in Academic Medicine, teaching and quality improvement.

Hobbies: I love to bake, Netflix binge, travel and Amazon shop. I'm a mom to a spunky 3-year-old little girl named Lillian and I have another baby girl on the way.
