Enabling this provides you with more accurate distances to providers and locations
Our infectious diseases team is led by a dedicated group of board-certified physicians. The team works closely with other subspecialties and departments at Corewell Health, including cardiology, pulmonology, otolaryngology, rheumatology, orthopedics, hematology/oncology, surgical specialists, gastroenterology, and neurology to provide coordinated, comprehensive care.
Our services include treatment of bacterial, viral, and fungal infections. The largest portion of the infections that we treat are related to post-op wound infections, osteomyelitis, urinary tract infections, joint infections, and wound complications/infections secondary to diabetes.
Most of the practice is focused on inpatient consultations with outpatient follow-up in the office if required. We also see new patient consultations in our office. Physician referrals are required. Afterwards, patients are seen as needed. Our providers include twelve physicians, four fellows, and eight advanced professional practitioners (APPs). All of the physicians and APPs see patients in the office, although schedules vary.
Patients and their families should plan for their first appointment to last about an hour. Please bring copies of any medical records, logs or notes from health systems outside of Corewell Health. Also bring copies of any out of state, or out of country, vaccination records.
