How do I know it’s safe?
Keeping your personal health information secure is our priority. That’s why we use the latest technologies in protecting your information, online and off. MyHealth is HIPAA compliant and uses multiple layers of security, including state-of-the-art encryption and firewalls, so your information stays protected.
Additionally, MyHealth will ask you security questions when you set up your account, to confirm your identity and match you to your electronic health record. No one can access your information but you. If you want someone else (a parent, a child, etc.) to have access to your information, you can grant them permission after you’ve set up your account.
How do I sign up?
The easiest way to sign up is at your provider’s office. If you’re 18 or older, you can also create an account on your own.
To create an account, first download the app or visit myhealth.spectrumhealth.org. Next, create a username (must be a valid email address) and password. After you answer the security questions, your MyHealth account will securely connect to your Spectrum Health medical record.
Parents and guardians can enroll their minor child (ages 0-11) in MyHealth at their provider’s office or by calling 877.308.5083. Adolescents (ages 12-17) can sign up for their own MyHealth account at their provider’s office.
