Area youth have a resource to receive primary medical care – the Lakeview youth clinic. This clinic, operated by Spectrum Health United & Kelsey Hospitals, partners with Lakeview Community Schools to address the medical, social-emotional, developmental needs of adolescents ages 10 to 21.
The youth clinic is a school-linked adolescent health center. The practice takes a team approach to care, allowing the adolescent, his or her parents and the healthcare provider to become partners in decision making. Employees are highly involved in the surrounding communities and have access to resources such as social service agencies and human services organizations.

The clinic is open to adolescents ages 10 to 21 from all communities. No adolescent will be turned away due to inability to pay. In addition to clinic services, the clinic provides various intervention activities occurring within Lakeview Community Schools. These clinical interventions will be presented to students in the form of wellness programs. Staff will help students understand how preventive measures can help them avoid both short-term and long-term consequences of poor decisions.
Monday and Tuesday, 8am to 5:30pm, Thursday, 9am to 5:30pm.
