The first time you login after updating your Spectrum Health app or accessing through the new website https://mychart.spectrumhealth.org, you will need to go through a two-factor authentication process. This process is to ensure your account is secure on the device you are using. This is a one-time process but must be completed before you can access your medical information.

After logging in with your username and password, you will be sent a 6-character code to your email that you must enter in order to proceed. Please keep the page that is asking for the code open and access your email in a different tab or on a different device. You can open a new tab in your internet browser by selecting Ctrl + T on your keyboard or by clicking the + located to the right of your currently opened tabs. This code is valid for ten minutes.

Once you submit this information, you will automatically be redirected into the Spectrum Health MyChart patient portal.

Android users may experience an issue where the 6-character code provided does not successfully allow you to login.

This can be due to hitting the Back button to get to the Android home screen rather than the Home or Menu buttons. Doing so invalidates the page and results in the code not working. Please use the Home or Menu button when navigating away from the Verify Your Identity screen.

For security purposes, to reactivate your account you will need to you to verify your identity first by verifying two of the three items listed below.

• Your date of birth
• Your mailing address
• The last four digits of your social security number

You can share this information along with your first and last name via email to appsupport@spectrumhealth.org or your account can also be reactivated over the phone to grant you access. At your earliest convenience, please call us at (877) 308-5083. We are available by phone Monday through Thursday 7:30 am – 7:00 pm, Friday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm and Saturday 8:30 am – 12:00 pm.

To reset your password:

1. Visit https://mychart.spectrumhealth.org
2. Select Forgot Password on the login page
3. Input username, primary phone number, and date of birth
4. A code will be sent to your email address on file, this will need to be provided on the login page
5. You will then be presented with the Reset Password page

If your code has expired when resetting your password, you will need to send yourself another code by going through the password reset process again.

Note: A password reset is required after account reactivation.

If you previously had a MyHealth or Spectrum Health Now account, your information transferred to this new system and you do not need to create a new account. Simply log in with your MyHealth or Spectrum Health Now username and password.

You may have multiple medical records with Spectrum Health. Contact Spectrum Health app support to have a request submitted to merge your charts into one medical record. Process takes 1-3 business days.
