Online Scheduling

With online scheduling, you don’t have to wait until your doctor’s office is open to make your appointment.

Use online scheduling for the following types of in-person appointments:
Primary care visit with your primary care provider or their team
• Specialty care visit with a provider you’ve seen before
Lab services

Use Spectrum Health MyChart to schedule in-person visits. Follow these steps:
1. Log in to MyChart using your computer or the Spectrum Health app on your phone.
2. Select “Visits” from the main menu or “Schedule an appointment” from the Quick Links menu.
3. Select either a specific provider you want to see or the reason for your appointment.
4. Answer on-screen questions about the reason for your appointment. You may get a notice that your concern could be treated through a video visit. If you prefer an in-person appointment, select no.
5. Review available dates and times, and select the one that works best for you.
6. Confirm the provider, location and appointment time you’ve selected and provide additional details about the reason for your appointment
7. Indicate whether you’d like to be notified if an earlier appointment becomes available. If you select this option, you’ll receive an email or text alert allowing you to reschedule for the new time.
8. Click the blue “Schedule” button.

To cancel or reschedule an appointment online, follow these steps:
1. Log in to MyChart using your computer or the Spectrum Health app on your phone.
2. On the “Visits” tab, select “Appointments and Visits.”
3. Review the “Upcoming Appointments” list. Select the visit you want to cancel or reschedule.
4. Select “Cancel Appointment” or “Reschedule Appointment.” (If these options aren’t listed, call your doctor’s office.)
5. Follow the on-screen prompts to either cancel or choose a new time.

Follow these steps to schedule a primary care video visit:
1. Log in to Spectrum Health MyChart using your computer or the Spectrum Health app on your phone.
2. Select “Visits” from the main menu or “Schedule an appointment” from the Quick Links menu.
3. Select either a specific provider you want to see or the reason for your appointment.
4. Answer on-screen questions about the reason for your appointment. MyChart will then ask if you’d like to have your visit virtually. Select “Yes.”
5. Review available dates and times, and select the one that works best for you.
6. Confirm the provider and appointment time you’ve selected and provide additional details about the reason for your appointment
7. Indicate whether you’d like a notification if an earlier appointment becomes available. If you select this option, you’ll receive an email or text alert allowing you to reschedule for the new time.
8. Click the blue “Schedule” button.
