    Gastric Band Surgery

    Performed laparoscopically, a small adjustable band is placed around the stomach. Rate of weight loss is slower than other surgeries. However, this surgery is easily reversible.

    Gastric bypass separates a small part of your stomach. This limits the amount of food you can eat at one sitting. This surgery can now often be done laparoscopically for quicker recovery.

    Kegel Exercises

    Kegels are exercises designed to prevent incontinence. You can strengthen the muscles of the pelvic floor with a simple squeeze-and-release movement.

    Knee Ligament Surgery

    Arthroscopic surgery can repair serious damage. If you have a torn ligament or tendon, it is repaired if possible. If it is too damaged for a simple repair, it can be replaced with a tissue graft.

    Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital is home to West Michigan’s only full-service pediatric radiology department. All our providers are specially trained in diagnosing illness, injuries and diseases in children.

    Regional Burn Center

    The Spectrum Health Regional Burn Center has been providing inpatient and outpatient care to adults and pediatric burn survivors since 1979.

    Uronav Fusion Biopsy

    UroNav fusion biopsy targets the suspicious areas and can better identify and more accurately characterize prostate cancer when present.

    Uterine Cancer Surgery

    The most common treatment for uterine cancer is surgery, to remove the cancerous uterus and cervix. This procedure is sometimes done laparoscopically, through a small incision near the navel. Your doctor will tell you if this is possible for you.
