Research Day

The 2021 Grand Rapids Citywide Research Day is a three-day virtual event presented by the Spectrum Health Office of Research and Education. The event showcases clinical, basic science, quality and educational research studies for the entire West Michigan community.

Researchers from hospitals, clinics and university institutions are invited to submit abstracts for presentation. Previous presenters include attending physicians, clinical staff, resident and fellow physicians and medical students from a variety of disciplines, including medicine, nursing, physician assistant, physical therapy and pharmacology programs.

Join us for the virtual 2021 Grand Rapids Citywide Research Day, held April 20 – 22, 2021. Research presentations will be 10 minutes, including questions. The schedule will be based on regularly scheduled residency and fellowship educational times.

Submit an abstract

Sign up for a poster or a traditional oral presentation. There are no limits on the number of posters, as all of these will be presented orally online. The total presentation time will be 10 minutes, we recommend reserving the last 2-3 minutes for questions.
  • All users will need to create a new account
  • Deadline: Friday, February 19, 2021 at 11:59 p.m.

Sign up to review abstracts/judge presentations

Abstract reviewers and/or presentation judges are always needed for the conference.  Abstract reviews take place in late February - early March and will be completed online.  All presentation judges will have an opportunity to review abstracts prior to the meeting.  You do not have to be a world-renowned researcher to provide educational feedback to the learners on their projects. All reviewers and judges will need to create a new account.

All Research Day related questions should be directed to alan.davis@spectrumhealth.org.
