Can I pay by check or with cash when I register for the event?
Please plan to pay with a credit card when registering online. During any event check-in/registration events, cash and credit card payments will be accepted. During event check-in/late registration on Friday or Saturday, March 20 and 21, 2020 in the East Grand Rapids High School gym, cash or credit cards will be accepted.
Can I reserve a certain shirt size?
Participants who registered by 11:59 p.m. on Friday, March 6 will receive the shirt size they ordered. Participants who register after 11:59 p.m. on Friday, March 6 may choose from available remaining shirt sizes on a first come first served basis on March 20 and 21 at the East Grand Rapids High School gym. The remaining shirts will be sold after the event for a $10 donation to colorectal cancer screenings, prevention and diagnostic services.
What time does the event start?
The Spectrum Health Irish Jig will begin at 8:30 a.m.
Is walking the course permitted?
Walking the course is allowed, but participants must complete the route within 75 minutes. Walkers will begin their event after all runners have crossed the starting line, at approximately 8:45 a.m. If you cannot complete the course in 75 minutes, you may be asked to finish the race on the sidewalk so the roads can be reopened to traffic. You will be included in the results if you complete the 5K when the finish line closes at 10:00 a.m.
