Event update:

As we continue to monitor the developments around COVID-19, and in an effort to be sensitive to our attendees, we’ve made the difficult decision to postpone the event on May 1, 2020.

Please check back for information in the upcoming months as we plan to reschedule the event in the fall.

Any ticket purchase and/or sponsorship will be transferred to the rescheduled event and will be used to  support the Healthy Kids, Smart Kids, an initiative to fund school health through philanthropy, and give more kids the opportunity to learn how they can grow to be healthy adults.
We appreciate your commitment and generosity.

Please contact Tamara Elhart, foundation associate with any questions at tamara.elhart@spectrumhealth.org.

Event Information

Join us for the 8th Annual Julep Gala!

There is no requirement for Michigan schools to employ a nurse, however evidence shows that the health of students is improved when there is one on staff.  Of our community’s five school districts only one staffs a full-time school nurse.

This year, join us at the Julep Gala to help alleviate this shortage, and benefit a new program Spectrum Health has launched - Healthy Kids, Smart Kids, an initiative to fund school health through philanthropy, and give more kids the opportunity to learn how they can grow to be healthy adults.

Your gifts will help our public schools connect with our youth in highly impactful ways, reducing absenteeism and assist with long-term goals such as improving graduation rates, workplace readiness and college entry.

Help us, to improve health and better our community for the future.
