Please join us for this year’s Foraged Feast on Saturday, February 1, which will include a wild dinner with a variety of small and large game, live auction, raffle, drinks and fellowship. Enjoy hand-selected craft beer to complement the evening meal. All proceeds from the evening benefit Culinary medicine at Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital.

This year’s event will enable Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital to launch a Culinary Medicine program in summer of 2020. Culinary medicine, or the practice of helping patients use nutrition to restore and maintain health, combines scientific principles related to nutrition, behavior, and medicine. The program will include pre and post biometric screens with the goal of helping community members through long-term healthy lifestyle change.

All proceeds benefit the Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital Culinary Medicine Program beginning Summer of 2020. Culinary medicine is an evidence-based field of medicine aimed at improving a patient’s health by blending nutrition and cooking knowledge with the science of medicine.
