Menopause affects more than a woman’s ovaries—it affects everything from mood, sleep, body temperature, libido, weight, sex life and more. The impact of perimenopausal changes and menopause can span decades of a woman’s life. Many assume the uncomfortable side effects of perimenopause and menopause are unavoidable but that’s not true. Did you know there are changes you can make to ease common symptoms such as hot flashes, night sweats and more? Join a panel of experts from the Spectrum Health Midlife and Menopause program for a discussion on how to best navigate this journey, with some ups and some downs, personal changes and new challenges that, when embraced, can help you live your best life. Women of all phases of the journey are invited to attend, even those just wanting to become prepared for what’s ahead.
