Spectrum Health Medical Group Orthopedics offers athletic training services for your employees who experience work-related injuries similar to those incurred by amateur and professional athletes. Our goal is to help improve your employees’ performance, health and safety outcomes, and your organization’s bottom line.
Utilizing our knowledge and expertise in the design, implementation and measurement of injury prevention strategies, our services will help reduce your workers compensation claim costs and disability durations and enhance your return-to-work programs.

Our athletic trainers are highly qualified, motivated allied health care professionals who specialize in the prevention, assessment, treatment, education and rehabilitation of injury and illness. They are “Athletic Trainer, Certified” (ATC), which means they are credentialed by the National Athletic Trainers’ Association and recognized by the State of Michigan as licensed health care professionals. They also hold bachelor’s degrees, and many have additional education, such as a master’s degree or specialty certification.
