Our Healthy Weight Center offers a comprehensive program for children and adolescents up to age 17. Helping your child achieve a healthy weight starts with small steps like the “Healthy Counts,” and our team is here to help create a guide to successfully achieving a healthy weight and lifestyle.
Serious weight management is built on a foundation of respect. For this reason, the team forms a solid working partnership between your family and our specialists. This means honoring the strength, cultures and traditions that make a relationship that much stronger.
In keeping with recommendations from the American Academy of Pediatrics, your child’s health goals are supported by an entire multidisciplinary team. During the first visit, your family may meet with a registered dietitian, master’s level social worker, exercise physiologist, psychologist or pediatrician for medical management, education and goal setting.
