Rheumatology Specialties

Our pediatric rheumatology specialists provide highly specialized care for infants, children and teens who have disorders of the musculoskeletal system. These disorders include juvenile arthritis, systemic lupus, dermatomyositis, scleroderma, joint changes and dermatologic manifestations.

Our dedicated team has specialized training and experience working with children’s rheumatologic and inflammatory diseases. They are committed to working closely with pediatric orthopedic and rehabilitation specialists to help your child achieve a safe activity level that is healthy, comfortable and enjoyable.

If your child is referred for an osteoporosis screening, a dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DEXA) scanner will be used to determine bone density.
