Treatments We Provide

  • Antibiotics

Antibiotics may be needed for children who have weakened immune systems and get diarrhea from a bacterial intestinal illness.

  • Anti-Parasitic Medicine

Anti-parasitic medicine will usually cure parasitic infections like Giardia or Cryptosporidium.

  • Changes in Diet

If your child's diarrhea or other gastrointestinal problems are due to a food allergy or intolerance, you may need to eliminate or cut back on those foods. Our specialists can help you navigate this new diet and discover the best options for your child.

  • Intravenous Fluids

If a child becomes dehydrated from diarrhea, hospitalization may be necessary so that IV fluids can be administered.
