Spectrum Health Cancer Center has one of the largest and most comprehensive breast care programs in the state, and provides more fellowship-trained specialists dedicated to breast care than any other health system in West Michigan. We perform 95,000 screening and diagnostic procedures and nearly 800 surgical procedures each year. Our multidisciplinary team of experts provides a continuum of care from screening and diagnostic testing to treatment, rehabilitation and survivorship services.

We are accredited by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC); only five percent of U.S. breast centers have NAPBC accreditation. Our Betty Ford Breast Care Services radiologists are specially trained in breast imaging and diagnostics. In fact, the American College of Radiology has designated us a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence.

Our team-based approach, extensive experience and focus on quality are what differentiate our program, making it a destination for compassionate and integrative care for anyone with breast cancer.

October is breast cancer awareness month! Kelsey Haynes, community relations specialist discusses how Betty Ford talked candid about her breast health.
