Treatments We Provide

  • Biologic Therapy

This procedure uses your body's immune system to fight your cancer. This is done by either stimulating your immune system to attack cancer cells or by introducing agents it needs, like antibodies, to kill them.

  • The Cancer Genetics Program

A specialty service that can help you discover if you are genetically predisposed to certain cancers.

  • Chemotherapy

This well-known cancer treatment uses medicines taken intravenously or by mouth to kill cancer cells throughout the body. Chemotherapy may be given before surgery to shrink tumors, or after to fight cancer cells that have potentially spread.

  • External Beam Radiation Therapy

Radiation uses high energy beams to kill cancer cells. It is the most commonly used breast cancer treatment. Standard radiation uses an external beam to treat the entire breast, either before or after tumor removal.

  • Internal Radiation Therapy

For this treatment, a radioactive source is put next to or into the tumor. The advantage of this approach is that the radiation reaches the tumor without passing through the skin and other tissues, which means it is less likely to cause side effects.

  • Surgery

Mastectomy, partial mastectomy and lumpectomy are all surgical options used to treat breast cancer. Many factors will determine which is best for you.

  • Radiation Oncology

A team of medical professionals with advanced training deliver radiation treatment and care.
