Parkinson's disease is a progressive movement disorder that reduces dopamine production in the brain. You may experience tremors, muscle tightening and develop memory loss and dementia. Typically, symptoms start around age 60. Men are one and a half times more likely to develop Parkinson's disease than women. Medications are available to successfully manage symptoms.
