This free service helps you keep friends and family universally updated on your loved one's condition. CarePages allows you to post pictures and updates at any time. Your supporters can post encouraging words for you, if you activate the comments section. CarePages remain active until you choose to deactivate the page.
If you would like to reflect, pray, meditate or simply sit in peaceful quiet, visit the multi-faith chapel at Butterworth Hospital, adjacent to the Meijer Heart Center. Located on first floor near the lobby, the chapel is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Adjacent to the Meijer Heart Center, the Butterworth Hospital Gift shop is located near the main entrance. The gift shop offers unique gift ideas from infant clothing to cards and flowers.Hours:
Monday to Friday 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Weekends 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Flowers, balloons and gifts are delivered to rooms daily by one of our many dedicated volunteers. You can also order items from our online gift shop.
A telecommunications device for the deaf (TDD) is available for patients and visitors who are deaf or hard of hearing. Ask the nurse to make arrangements for a device.
Patient rooms are equipped with an in-room phone for local calls. Patients are welcome to share their in-room phone number with friends and families, at their discretion.
Internet Access and Cell Phones
We offer free wireless internet access. Mobile devices and laptops may be used anywhere, except in posted restricted areas. If you need help with access, call our Technical Support team at 616.391.4000.
Patients and families in need of assistance with understanding or reading English have free access to Spectrum Health language services. For interpretation or translation services, call 616.391.2175.
Notary public service is available for patients and families who are unable to access notary services outside of the cancer center. Ask your nurse or call Patient Relations at 616.225.6414.

For patient relations assistance after hours, ask the patient's nurse to contact a supervisor for you.
The Spectrum Health Pastoral Care and Bereavement Department provides spiritual and emotional support to patients, family and staff.
Local and cable television channels are available in patient rooms free of charge. Closed captioning is available.
Our security employees are available 24 hours a day to help visitors, patients and guests with wheelchair assistance. We can also escort you to your vehicle. We're here to help in any way that we can.
