Applications are now being accepted for two scholarship programs administered by the Spectrum Health Foundation Zeeland Community Hospital. Both scholarships support students who are pursuing a medical career. We are so proud of all our past scholarship winners. We look forward to meeting more inspiring students this year and we encourage everyone to apply.

Service League Health Care Scholarship

Organized by the hospital’s Service League of Volunteers, annual $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to three local high school or college students pursuing a career in the medical profession. Experience—even volunteer activities—in the medical field is preferred.

Rick D. Postma Medical Scholarship

Sponsored by the family of Rick D. Postma, an accomplished nurse and medical provider, an annual $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to one individual who is pursuing a medical career. This program is open to all Zeeland East High School, Zeeland West High School, or Holland High School graduates attending Muskegon Community College or Grand Valley State University.
