Grand Valley State University Dance Marathon
Saturday, March 25
March 25, 10 a.m. - 10 p.m.
Event open to the general public - fundraiser to dance or support a dancer!
Decades ago, Dance Marathon was an event where the last couple standing won a prize. That all changed in 1973 when the Inter-Fraternity Council began a Dance Marathon at Penn State University. Today the Penn State IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon raises over $2 million annually.
Children's Miracle Network first heard of Dance Marathon when Indiana University raised more than $60,000 in only their third event for the Ryan White Infectious Diseases Fund. Thanks to the help of students at Indiana and Penn State, and many schools since then, CMN's Dance Marathon program was born. There are now dozens of schools and tens of thousands of students from coast to coast participating.
At Grand Valley State University, Dance Marathon is just getting started as a new tradition. In 12 hours, participants have fun enjoying food, fun, music, and of course...dancing! Don't miss out on this amazing opportunity to give back to the community.
