The Spectrum Health Regional Burn Center has been providing advanced treatment for burns since 1979. We offer a number of ways to care for and support you, including:

• Dedicated inpatient unit at Butterworth Hospital 
• Outpatient burn clinic at Blodgett Hospital for less severe burns
• Education about how to prevent burns
• Peer support group
• Summer burn camp for kids
• Winter burn camp for kids
• Counseling and financial help

Referrals

Doctors can refer patients to the burn center for inpatient or outpatient care; patients also can refer themselves. An inpatient would be admitted to the hospital for treatment. An outpatient would be treated in our clinic where prompt, specialized burn care is provided by our clinical team.
