This program is geared especially to the questions and concerns of expectant teens, giving them the opportunity to share with peers going through the same experience. The Expectant Teen class covers the same information as Preparing for Childbirth. The typical age range in this class is anywhere from 13 yrs to 19 yrs old but will allow those outside of the age range as well.

You will learn exercises, comfort measures, positions, tips for relaxation, breathing patterns and information on pain relief for labor and birth. Basic skills to help with baby's care and feeding and your care after birth are also included.

  • A support person or partner is encouraged to attend.

  • This class meets for 4 weeks for 2.5 hours a class.

  • A reminder letter with a map to our location, the dates you are scheduled and a list of what to bring to class will be mailed to you.
